A fresh addition to Triumph’s category-defining lineup, the Speed 400 brings the Triumph modern classic experience to a whole new generation. The fuel-injected, 398cc single-cylinder engine combines Triumph’s trademark modern classic style with state-of-the-art engineering to deliver a class-beating 39 HP of power and 28 LB-FT of peak torque with an evocative, rich, and distinctive exhaust note from the twin-pipe silencer.

Lightweight and with a slender waistline, the easy-going speed 400 is as manageable as it is capable. The seat height of 32.87 inches combine with a slim bench seat to offer a commanding riding position and generous standover clearance that effectively reduces the distance from the rider’s hips to the ground. And with a fully fueled weight of just 392 lbs, the Speed 400 is designed to be easy to maneuver in every riding situation.

The Speed 400 is also loaded with technology designed to enhance every ride. This includes a torque-assist clutch; an ingenious system that reduces clutch lever effort to improve ease of use and rider comfort during stop and start riding, while also offering superb control and feel. The clutch was also designed to prevent rear wheel skip and locking during downshifts, combining safety with performance.
